This policy describes how personal information may be handled when you visit this website, contact the studio, book or receive a service, complete a requested health form, purchase a product, or choose to receive marketing communications.

It does not replace the privacy terms of an external booking, payment, mapping, review or other third-party service that you choose to use.

7. Bookings and Payments

The website currently directs appointment bookings to Acuity Scheduling. Information entered into that service is handled under the provider’s own privacy terms.

The Topaz website contact form does not request complete payment-card details. When payment information is entered into a booking or payment service, that provider may process the card information and provide Topaz Facial Studio with booking, deposit or transaction records instead of complete card credentials.

8. Marketing Communications and Consent

Submitting an enquiry, booking an appointment, completing a health form, purchasing a product or accepting a booking policy does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Where an optional marketing checkbox is presented, it is separate from the information needed to answer your enquiry or provide the requested service. It is unchecked by default, and you can submit the form without selecting it.

If you consent to marketing, Topaz Facial Studio may use your email address and consent record for occasional information about treatments, studio news and special offers. You may withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe method provided in a message or by contacting the studio.

Health-form responses, allergies, sensitivities, treatment notes and other sensitive health information are not transferred into a general marketing list.

The homepage displays Google reviews through Trustindex, and the Contact page includes an embedded Google Map. These external services may receive technical information, including an IP address and browser or device information, and may use their own cookies or similar technologies when their content loads.

As of the last-updated date shown on this page, no Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or other advertising conversion tag was detected in the active theme or rendered public pages. If analytics or advertising technology is added later, this policy and the site’s consent controls should be reviewed before that technology is enabled.

10. When Information Is Shared

Personal information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with service providers that support the website, booking, payment, communication, review display or mapping functions described in this policy. Topaz Facial Studio does not sell personal information through this website.

Service providers used for hosting, booking, payment, email delivery, reviews or embedded content may process or store information outside British Columbia or Canada. Information handled in another jurisdiction may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of that jurisdiction.

The current hosting provider and the exact processing locations used by each provider have not been confirmed for this policy. Topaz Facial Studio therefore does not state that all personal information remains in Canada.
