Topaz Signature Custom Facial
A facial designed after an in-depth skin analysis, not a pre-set protocol. Professional skincare and Topaz's signature facial massage approach are tailored to what your skin needs on the day.
Peels & Pigmentation
A named professional facial that pairs an active resurfacing phase with a cooling, soothing phase for a refreshed finish.

The iS Clinical Fire & Ice Facial combines two contrasting mask phases: a warming resurfacing masque with glycolic acid to exfoliate the skin, followed by a cooling, hydrating masque. Often called a red-carpet facial, it is designed for a smoother, brighter-looking finish.
At Topaz, the sequence includes extractions if needed and relaxing ice globe facial massage while the cooling masque works. Products are selected to finish your treatment, and we discuss home care. Sensitivity and recent skincare are reviewed first; warmth or tingling during the active phase and temporary redness afterward can occur.

Fire & Ice may suit clients seeking professional resurfacing for dullness, rough-looking texture, or a generally tired complexion when the skin is suitable for active exfoliation. It may also be considered before an event if the client has enough time and has discussed previous sensitivity. Clients who prefer a fully bespoke facial may be better served by the Signature Custom Facial, while deeper correction may require a different consultation-led plan.
Tell Topaz about retinoids, prescription products, recent waxing, peels, devices, injectables, pregnancy, and a history of reactive skin. An irritated barrier, active infection, or another contraindicating factor can mean modifying or postponing the service.
We review your skin and recent products, then cleanse before the active phase.
The warming iS Clinical resurfacing masque with glycolic acid exfoliates the skin. We monitor comfort and remove it according to the protocol.
After any suitable extractions, a cooling hydrating masque and ice globe massage bring a soothing contrast.
We apply appropriate finishing products and discuss gentle home care.

Good to know
Choose a topic to learn what to expect before and after your appointment.
Clients may notice smoother-feeling skin and a brighter, more refreshed appearance after the facial. Temporary changes do not predict a permanent result, and the response depends on the starting condition, sensitivity, and adherence to aftercare.
Temporary warmth, redness, tightness, sensitivity, or light flaking can occur. The service is often chosen for its polished finish, but no universal no-downtime promise is made. Discuss event timing and prior reactions with the practitioner.
Each Fire & Ice visit begins with consultation. Topaz generally advises avoiding acids, retinol and scrubs for approximately one week beforehand. If you have had Botox, fillers, a chemical peel, laser or a similar procedure within roughly two weeks, contact the studio before proceeding. Share prescriptions and sensitivity history; do not stop prescribed products without your prescriber’s advice. Do not arrive with sunburn, broken skin or active irritation.
Keep the routine gentle, wear daily sun protection, and pause retinoids, acids, scrubs, and other exfoliation until advised. Avoid picking at any dryness or flaking. Contact the studio if the skin becomes more uncomfortable than expected.
Not sure which treatment to choose?
The name refers to the contrast between the active resurfacing phase and the cooling, soothing phase of the named iS Clinical facial.
No. Fire & Ice follows a named professional facial format. A custom peel is selected after assessment from available professional options.
A couple of days before an important event can be a reasonable planning window for some clients, after discussing suitability and previous reactions. It is not a universal guarantee of no downtime or event readiness. Contact the studio before booking, especially if the treatment is new to you.
Suitability depends on the current barrier, history, and product use. A practitioner must assess whether the active phase is appropriate.
